“Apex Legends Breakout Season 20” has been out for a couple of weeks, it’s time to break down the great guns in the current meta. There were a couple of big changes to some of the game’s most powerful weapons in this Apex update, but was it enough to get the guns out of the current rotation?
We’ll also mention which guns were ‘nerfed’ in the last patch, but surprisingly, some of those weapons still rank as one of the best weapons in Apex Legends in the latest season.
That said, if you’re grinding through Season 20 or the latest Inner Beast Collections Event and need to buy Apex coins to complete your collections before the end of the events, U7BUY is your one-stop shop for all things Apex Legends!
Let’s get straight into the list of the best & most OP weapons in Apex Legends Breakout Season 20!
C.A.R SMG
First up we have the dominant C.A.R SMG, arguably the most versatile and powerful SMG in Apex Legends Breakout. It’s an excellent shot in both close and mid-range encounters with high damage and a relatively predictable recoil and spray pattern.
Not to mention that it is the only gun in the entire Apex game that allows you to switch between light and heavy rounds. It is also the only gun in the game that lets you use either light or heavy attachments, so it’s really much easier to kit out than other guns.
Nemesis Burst AR
The Nemesis Burst AR is the next weapon on our list for its dependable performance in mid-long-range encounters. It excels mainly at mid-range, but even with longer ranges it’s a great shot if you can land them.
What makes the Nemesis stand out is the 4-shot burst that keeps on firing even if you hold down the trigger. Unlike the Hemlock which requires you to fire each shot manually.
Plus, this patch, the Hemlock received a few substantial debuffs to damage and spread, so it’s not as powerful as the Nemesis this season.
The Nemesis can also charge up and shoot faster as you hold down the trigger which makes it an absolute beast in firefights.
Prowler PDW
The Prowler PDW is one of the weapons that got a nerf this season of Apex Legends Breakout but that doesn’t stop it from ranking as one of the best guns in the Apex game. One reason is the Prowler is now a non-care package weapon that can be found in the arena.
Its overall damage was lowered, it can’t use the Selectfire hop-up, and has increased delays to burst/spread but in close-mid range, it’s a beastly damage dealer that can take down enemies quickly.
30-30 Repeater
The 30-30 Repeater was dominant in the last Apex Legends update and has seen its fair share of nerfs this time around including lower damage, reduced White/Blue/Purple/Gold mag capacities, and a few other nerfs to hop-ups and headshot damage.
But the 30-30 Repeater now increases reload speed by 20% when reloading 3 shells in a row which makes it a better experience to use as a long-range weapon. The fact that it has so many nerfs this time around means that it’s a powerful weapon in Apex Legends.
While the nerfs are substantial, the 30-30 Repeater is still as viable as it’s been provided you make your shots.
And those are some of the most powerful weapons in Apex Legends Season 20, but it all comes down to playstyle and personal preference. But if you’re on the hunt for Apex accounts for sale, U7BUY has a fantastic selection with rare skins, high ranks, and Heirloom collections!
